The writer of this paper is of the opinion that during the storming stage of group development process, it is vital that the team leader should encourage two way communication where all the members of the team are encourage to share their ideas freely as well as listen to other ideas. In this way, the positive synergies that are usually associated with teams where diversity is present could be realized. This is due to the fact that different members of the team who belong to different culture and who have different norms and values will look at certain concept from different angel (Johnson, 1999). When open communication is allowed within a group different member shares their feelings openly that lead towards better solution to the problems encounter by the group members. In addition, during the stage it is vital that the team leader should provide support to all the members of the group and encourage members of the team that instead of taking individualistic perspective that should take collective approach based on collaboration (Adler, 2002). Only then the true positive synergy from the team efforts could be realized where members of the team work collectively towards the accomplishment of the group's goals.
When members of the group started understanding each other and rapport and relationship were developed between the members of the group, the stage could be termed as norming stage. In these stage members of the group worked cohesively towards the group's goals and objectives. As the team was composed of multiple members who were belonging to diverse cultures, they appreciated the cultural difference and extend their honor for the cross cultural differences instead of criticizing other on the basis of cultures. In addition, members of the team started pointing out commonalities that led towards the development of functional relationship between different members of the team that further boost the confidence and trust of different members over each other (Brett et al., 2006). In addition, each member of the group started realizing the significant role that other member of the group has been playing towards the accomplishment of group's goals. As sound leadership were present in the group, the group leaders consistently made her best efforts to ensure that all the members of the group help each other. The role of leader was essentially that of mentor who helped different members of the group according to felt problems
