Although it is known that she was functioning quite well independently, it is an immediate concern that she can no longer facilitate every day tasks without assistance. Although Mrs. Peterson is receiving home care services twice a week, it is apparent that she is in need of constant supervision as evidenced by the fact that she has fallen twice and is having difficulty using stairs. Although Mrs. Peterson is able to sufficiently care for most daily living needs herself, she is not able to move around her home in a safe manner. This affects her ability to safely shower, cook, and even move about in a home that is fairly large.
